About Me

I'm originally from Slovenia, a small country in Europe, and I spend most of my time coding, listening to music, and watching classic movies. I’ve always been fascinated by how things work under the hood, whether that’s software or different hardware. Right now, I’m working my way through Harvard’s CS50x, building web projects and programming in C, Python, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. For me, coding is the perfect mix of problem-solving logic and creative design.

Music and media have played a huge role in my life for as long as I can remember. I spent 6 years in music school as a kid learning guitar, which gave me a real appreciation for music from the inside out. My taste spans practically every era-from 50s and 60s classics like Elvis Presley and The Beatles, to 80s/90s icons like Kylie Minogue, and 90s rock with Green Day, Nirvana, and Oasis. I also love 2000s music like Avril Lavigne, alongside modern artists like Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo. I love live music and have already seen Green Day and Ed Sheeran live in concert, with a huge list of others I hope to catch on tour. When I’m not listening to music, I’m usually watching movies and TV shows-especially classics with a heavy 80s and 90s aesthetic, like Back to the Future and Top Gun, or shows like Stranger Things and Friends. On the athletic side, I played for a local basketball team for 5 years before switching to track and field, where I ended up becoming the 2025 U16 national champion in high jump. These days, my favorite sport to follow is definitely the NFL.

Outside of school and coding, I’m sometimes also flying gliders at a local airfield (or occasionally hopping on flight sim with VATSIM), shooting with my 35mm film camera, and tinkering with vintage audio tech like iPods and Walkmans. I also love exploring the world. I’ve traveled across Europe and to places like the UK, Japan, and the United States. Looking ahead, I'm planning to move to the US for university, hopefully blending my tech side with my love for music and media along the way.
